A Dubuque man will spend the rest of his life in prison for killing his mother.
Yesterday in Dubuque County District Court, Tyler Dazey was sentenced to a mandatory term of life in prison for first-degree murder, along with a two year sentence for the charge of animal abuse. Dazey must also pay $150-thousand dollars in restitution to his mother estate.
In July, Dazey was found guilty by jury in the January death of his mother Jennifer Dazey.
