The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is inviting you to come to an open house next month at Mississippi River Lock and Dam 10 at Guttenberg.
The open house will be on Saturday, September 21st between 10 and 2. The event will allow you to get a behind-the-scenes view of the site while giving you a better understanding of what goes on to ensure safe reliable navigation.
There will also be a variety of water safety activities and visitors will have an opportunity to see some of the boats used on the river.
The Lock and Dam 10 Open House will coincide with the annual GermanFest in Guttenberg that weekend.
