The Field of Dreams Movie Site will be hosting an evening celebrating the game of baseball on Saturday night that will culminated in the movie premiere Rally Caps.
Former Major Leaguer Curtis Pride, who was the first full-season deaf player in the MLB modern era and has a role in the movie, will be in attendance for a book signing, baseball clinic, and the largest game of catch ever played at the movie site. The entire event is free to the public.
Events at the field will begin at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon, the film Rally Caps will be screened at 8 o’clock on the baseball diamond following a question and answer session with writer and director of the movie Lee Cipolla and several actors in the movie.
The Field of Dreams Movie Site is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.
