Southwest Wisconsin Technical College’s new Precision Agronomy program has received a significant boost thanks to a generous $10,000 gift from the MidWestOne Bank Foundation.
This contribution will allow the Southwest Tech Foundation to purchase state-of-the-art equipment, enhancing the educational experience for students in this cutting-edge field.
The new equipment will assist students in engaging in real-time data collection and analysis, mirroring the activities of modern agricultural professionals. The students will participate in fieldwork that enhances their understanding of crop management, soil health, and environmental sustainability. They will learn to use advanced technology and techniques, ensuring they are well-prepared for careers in farming or the agronomy industry.
