Another Wisconsin school district will be asking voters this November to approve a recurring operating referendum.
Last week, the Cuba City school board unanimously approved a measure asking for $500-thousand dollars in new funding for this school year, followed by $400-thousand the next year, 200-thousand in 2026-27, 350-thousand in 2028-29. In 2029 and beyond, the referendum would annually provide the district 1-point-8 million more than it currently has to cover operational costs.
If the measure is approved it would raise the amount of property taxes residents pay over time.
