The High School Fall sports season officially began yesterday.
In boys high school golf at the Mississippi Valley Conference Super Meet at Gardner Golf Course in Marion.
Wahlert Catholic came away with the Super Meet title for the second straight season. The Golden Eagles shot a team total with 296, tying Iowa City High in score, but the fifth best individual score settled the tie breaker.
Senior finished in 6th place of the 15 schools shooting 310, Western Dubuque was 11th at 320, Hempstead was 14th with 339.
