A house fire in Fennimore late Friday night caused substantial damage to the home.
Fire crews from Fennimore were called to 13-55 13th street around 11:30 that night.
The only person in the home got out safely, and there were no injuries reported. The home was considered a total loss. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation. Fennimore Police and the Grant County Sheriff assisted at the scene.
