The countdown to the start of the Iowa High School fall sports season is underway. Today is the first day the sports of football, volleyball, cross country, girls swimming and boys golf may officially start practices for their seasons which get underway in the next few weeks.
- All 3 Dubuque High School boy’s golf teams play in the Mississippi Valley Super Meet this Thursday at Gardner Golf Course in Marion.
- The first high school football regular season varsity football contests will happen on Friday, August 30th.
- On Tuesday August 27th, the first varsity volleyball, boys and girls cross country and girls swimming meets are scheduled.
