A Dubuque man has received his sentencing following his guilty plea to sexual abuse charges.
41-year old Armon Kattil was ordered to serve 20-years behind bars for sexually assaulting multiple girls under the age of 17. Kattil pled guilty recently to three counts of third-degree sexual abuse and one count of lascivious acts with a child.
The incidents occurred over several years with the most recent happening in 2023. As part of the plea deal, two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, three additional counts of third-degree sexual abuse and one count of lascivious acts with a child were dismissed.
