For a fourth consecutive year, UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital has received a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services which is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This is the highest rating from CMS. Hospitals can receive between one and five stars, with five stars being the highest rating. Most hospitals will display a three-star rating which is based on data measuring five aspects of quality of care including mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience, and timely and effective care, as reported by CMS’ Care Compare tool. Only 7 hospitals in Iowa received this rating.
