Police said an additional individual has been arrested for his role in a June fight that blocked traffic along Central Avenue. According to the Telegraph Herald, 22 year old A’Kyran D. Dennis of 1637 Iowa St. No. 7, was arrested around 5:30 Tuesday morning at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center on a warrant charging participation in a riot and an unrelated out-of-state warrant. Court documents state Dennis was one of several men involved in a disturbance involving a large group of people at around 1:45 in the afternoon on June 5th in the area of 14th Street and Central Avenue. A review of traffic camera footage showed people fighting in the 1500 block of Central Avenue. The fight continued into the roadway causing traffic disruptions before dispersing ahead of officers’ arrival, documents state. Three others have also been arrested in relation to the incident and their cases are ongoing.
