Three people were injured in a crash in Jo Daviess county Saturday night. Officials say they were called to East Stagecoach Trail and North Canyon Park Road near Warren, Illinois for reports of a two vehicle accident. Upon arrival, authorities found a driver had stopped at the intersection and then continued north but did not see an approaching motorcycle. The driver of the car collided with the two people on the motorcycle. The cyclist and their passenger were flown to a local hospital for their injuries. The driver of the car was cited with Failure to Yield at Stop sign at an intersection. The accident remains under investigation.
One person was injured in a separate accident in Jo Daviess County early this morning. Officials were called to the area of Highway 20 west and Williams Drive around 3:30 Sunday morning, where a driver failed to slow down at a curve. The car left the road and came to rest on the north side of Highway 20. Four people were in the car, one was taken to the hospital for treatment. The crash remains under investigation.
