Commemorative Air Force AirPower History Tour Wraps Up

This weekend, the Commemorative Air Force wrapped up their AirPower History Tour at the Dubuque Regional Airport in Dubuque – featuring several aircraft from World War II and more. Visitors were able to purchase tours and rides aboard FIFI, a Boeing B-29 Super fortress, the P-51 Mustang, the B-17 Flying Fortress and the B-25 Mitchell, along with an assortment of fighters, trainers and liaison aircraft. The CAF says the project’s purpose is to educate and preserve these airplanes that otherwise would have all been lost. The Commemorative Air Force is now the largest flying museum in the world, with over 170 aircraft.
