The Dubuque Community School District has appointed Rebecca Fellenzer as the district’s next Director of Student Services, pending approval by the district’s Board of Education at its August meeting.
Fellenzer, who currently serves as a counselor at Hempstead High School since 2009, will begin transitioning into the role immediately.
As director of student services, Fellenzer will join the district’s leadership team and oversee a variety of support systems across the district including attendance initiatives, counseling programs, health services, language translation and interpretation, and supports for foster and homeless students.
