At the State High School Softball tournament in Fort Dodge this afternoon, Wahlert (30-10) will be attempting to land a spot in Friday’s Class 3A State Championship Game. The 3rd ranked Golden Eagles will tangle with 2nd ranked (31-12) Williamsburg in the semi-final round inside Harlan Rogers Park. Game time will be at 2:30.
Wahlert advanced with a thrilling 9-8 win in 8 innings over 7th ranked Sumner-Fredricksburg on Monday night while Williamsburg defeated 8th ranked PCM.
