The trial date for an Asbury man charged with first degree robbery in connection with an assault on a 16-year old boy in downtown Dubuque in June is now set.
22-year old Charles Tyler is scheduled to stand trial on September 3rd in Dubuque County District Court. Tyler and a 15-year old boy were arrested following the incident on June 16th when the victim was hospitalized after being punched in the face several times and suffering stab wounds to one of his arms. The boys bicycle was also stolen in the incident.
Tyler is still being held in the Dubuque County Jail.
