Today for the first time in nearly a month, the Mississippi River at Dubuque has dropped below flood stage and there is no longer a Flood Warning. This morning the river read 16.7 feet which is below flood stage of 17 feet for the first time since June 25th.
The National Weather Service says the Mississippi will continue dropping and is forecast to fall below the 15 foot action stage level by sometime Tuesday.
