According to the Telegraph Herald, the Dubuque Arts Council has announced a new venue for its Music in the Gardens concert series in 2025.
Beginning next year, the concerts series name will be Music at the Star and will take place at the Aliant Energy Amphitheater located in front of the Star Brewery in the Port of Dubuque area.
Recently, the Arts Council announced this summer would be the last season the Sunday evening concerts would be held at the Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.
The increased costs associated with a growing need for security and traffic control due to increased concert attendance were given as reasons for the move.
