A Dubuque man has received a federal prison sentence for distributing fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine.
After pleading guilty in April in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids, yesterday 30 year old Michael Vandermillen Junior was order to serve more than three years in federal prison.
Vandermillen admitted in April 2023 that he transferred methamphetamine to another person within 1,000 feet of two Dubuque parks. Evidence at the sentencing hearing also showed that one month later, he distributed heroin and fentanyl to a confidential informant.
Vandermillen is being held in the United States Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to a prison.
