Two Cedar Rapids area residents have been charged with trafficking a girl from Dubuque to Cedar Rapids where they gave her drugs and forced her into prostitution.
49-year old Tana Torres and 34-year old Jarod Anderson are both faces charges which include human trafficking and sexual abuse.
Court records show Torres and Anderson took the girl to a Cedar Rapids hotel in May and advertised her to solicit sex.
Authorities say the girl was reported missing and located in Cedar Rapids in May and she is now in a safe location. They also say the arrests are part of an ongoing investigation.
