World War 2 Era Planes Return To Dubuque Regional Airport Next Week

Airpaort

Next week Dubuque will once again have historical World War Two era aircraft soaring in the skies overhead.

Next Thursday thru Sunday, the Dubuque Regional Airport will host around 40 A-T 6 Texans gathering for the North America Trainer Associations annual pre-Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture formation and practice qualifications.  Other aircraft will include P-51 Mustangs and Corsairs.

There is no set schedule, but the best viewing times for those wanting to watch the planes will be between 10 and 6 each day.  You are invited to view the planes from an observation area at the airport. Anyone coming is encouraged to bring lawn chairs along.

For more information you can visit the Dubuque Regional Airports social media pages.
