The Grant County Sheriff says a Boscobel man has drowned while he was swimming with friends at a private farm pond.
Authorities say they were called to the pond near Boscobel around 10 o’clock last night. 21-year old Aaron King reportedly began to struggle to stay afloat and went underwater. The other swimmers attempted to retrieve King and bring him to shore, but were unsuccessful. The swimmers then flagged down a passerby who contacted sheriff’s department. First responders were also unable to locate him.
Shortly after 11 o’clock, Miller’s body was recovered from the pond by members of the Boscobel and Rural Fire Department.
