Chicago Man Sentenced For Role In School Disturbances

GAVEL COURT

A Chicago man has been given his sentence for his role in a couple of school disturbances in 2022.

Recently in Dubuque County District Court, 20-year old Isaiah Turner was ordered to serve two years of probation after pleading guilty on two counts unlawful assembly.

Turner was one of several students involved in fight outside of the Alta Vista Campus in October of 2022.  Turner was also among a group of people who went inside Hempstead High School in December 2022 and were making threats after a fight between two students earlier in the day. The group also tried to re-enter the school after being told to leave the premises.
