The Jo Daviess County Sheriff says two people were injured in a one vehicle accident last night near Warren. The accident happened shortly after 8:30 on East Stagecoach Trail, just east of North Canyon Park Road. Authorities say the vehicle was traveling a high rate of speed, lost control and hit a steep embankment before going airborne and then rolling over.
The driver who was listed as a juvenile, was transported to Freeport Memorial Hospital for treatment. The passenger, also listed as a juvenile was airlifted to a Rockford hospital for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation.
